Holistic Approach
GRIEFWERKS goes beyond conventional grief support by integrating emotional, practical, and professional strategies into every program. We honor your unique experience while providing actionable tools to help you regain balance in every area of life.
Leah Sanders, the founder of GRIEFWERKS, brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and personal insight to every program. As a seasoned media professional with a career spanning roles at media companies like ABC, NBC, CBS and Cox Media Group. Leah has mastered the art of storytelling, communication, and navigating life's most challenging transitions. Her journey is deeply personal—she has experienced profound loss, losing four immediate family members in quick, unexpected succession. This heartbreaking chapter in her life has inspired her mission to help others find strength and purpose amidst grief. Drawing on her expertise as a grief coach, trained through the ICF-approved program From Grief to Gratitude; certification as a Professional Leader in Business Relationships; spiritual practitioner training; as well as personal resilience, Leah has crafted a coaching approach that is both compassionate and empowering, helping individuals and organizations turn pain into possibility.
For those returning to work, GRIEFWERKS offers targeted coaching to help you navigate the challenges of managing grief in a professional setting. From coping with emotional triggers to balancing productivity and well-being, we provide actionable strategies to help you thrive in your career.
Whether through one-on-one coaching, small group workshops, or corporate sessions, we offer a variety of formats and payment plans tailored to fit your needs.
Each session is designed to empower you with tools you can use daily—mindfulness practices, communication techniques, and actionable plans for growth—to help you reclaim your life, your purpose, and your joy.
Grief deeply impacts professional life, costing U.S. businesses an estimated $225.8 billion annually in absenteeism, reduced productivity, and turnover, according to the Grief Recovery Institute (Strategic CHRO). Presenteeism, where grieving employees are physically present but disengaged, further reduces productivity by up to one-third. GRIEFWERKS addresses these challenges by equipping individuals and organizations with tools to navigate grief and rebuild workplace success.
